Our routine health maintenance visit schedule follows the American Academy of Pediatrics
guideline for children. A checkup or well-care visit is an opportunity for you to ask questions and for the physician to perform a physical exam.
In the first two years, well-care visits are frequent. Infants are generally seen within two to three days of hospital discharge, but will be seen the same day when there is a problem.
We see infants again at ages:
- Monthly from 1 month to 6 months of age
- 6 months
- 9 months
- 12 months
- 15 months
- 18 months
- 2 years
- 2.5 years
- Annually from 3 years to 21 years
