At our office, Dr. Politis and Dr. Kaki are committed to health maintenance and prevention of serious illness in children . We know raising a child is a rewarding as well as challenging experience. Our goal is to ensure that your child's full potential is reached. We believe that healthy children are the result of healthy parents and communities.

Many parents, especially first-time parents, ask how often their child should see a pediatrician. Of course, you should see your child's doctor any time your child is sick. We have same-day urgent care for those times. For children who are otherwise in good health, we recommend the following age guidelines for pediatric preventive care visits:

• first visit 1 week of age 
• Monthly health maintenance visit and vaccinations  until age 6 months
• At 9 months
• At 1 year
• At 15 and 18 months
• At 2 years (24 months)
• Once a year after age 3 until age 21
